Pasta Arrabbiata

with Familie Wein smoked ham cubes

Ingredients (serves 2)
250 g penne pasta
1 pack Familie Wein smoked ham cubes (200 g)
Cayenne pepper, if desired
400 g chopped tomatoes (tinned)
1/2 tsp (2–3 g) sugar
80 g Parmesan, grated

Cook the penne until al dente following the instructions on the packet. Fry the smoked ham cubes in a hot pan for about one minute and season with cayenne pepper (optional). Add the tomatoes and bring to the boil, then cover and cook for about 5 minutes. Season with sugar and stir in the pasta. Sprinkle over Parmesan cheese and serve.
